In a recent discussion with national press about ACIP and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s joint report, “Regaining America’s Competitive Advantage: Making our Immigration System Work,” ACIP’s Lynn Shotwell was asked about H.R. 6080, a bill that in part funds $600 million for border security using H-1B and L-1 visa fees.  Shotwell , ACIP’s Executive Director, told press, “This opens the door to using immigration fees to fund a whole variety of things.”
