Since the Chamber of Commerce v. Whiting decision earlier this year, the patchwork of employment verification regulations that U.S. employers must comply with from state-to-state has only become more divergent and confusing – creating uncertainty for U.S. employers across the country during a time when employers must focus on strengthening our economy and creating American jobs.
